Apart from the 44th president\u2019s struggle to stay away from cigarettes, Barack and Michelle Obama were a healthy couple. They looked healthy. Both went jogging; both went to the gym; both looked slim and fit. Google either name and the term \u201cjogging\u201d or \u201cgym\u201d and you\u2019ll see the photographs. Google \u201cTrump jogging\u201d or \u201cTrump gym\u201d and you get humour, not workouts.<\/p>\n

I share this because personal views impact hugely on public-office policy. Essentially people are elected for<\/em> their views and views, by their very nature, are personal.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
