Abbreviations

As a board member of two organisations, I see too many TLA’s (Three Letter Abbreviations) and I invariably spell these out in full, so as not to trouble my reader. In the unlikely event that I have not used the full version recently before a TLA, here are the abbreviations used in this book (these are global terms, unless indicated otherwise):
